Curriculum Organiser Newsletter September 2007Sent September 24, 2007 Further free units
Following the great response from our last offer we are offering a further range of free sample units.
Individual teachers may choose 2 of any of the following units that are part of the recent values orientation:
Early Childhood
Middle Childhood
Requests for curriculum planning documents
We respond to teacher needs. If you have any suggestions for topics / units / assessment tasks…. and provide some guidelines on your request, we will endeavour to provide it for you – without charge.
INVITATION TO PLANNING WORKSHOP
Curriculum Organiser members are invited to the following workshop.
Purpose: To enable teachers to develop teacher planning materials – quickly, simply and effectively.
Outcome: You will have take with you a set of planning documents ready to commence teaching:
Equipment: Bring a lap-top - the program will be installed at the beginning of the workshop.
You may work in pairs on the one machine. The second person should bring a ‘Flash Memory USB storage’.
Date: Friday 5 October
Location: Edith Cowan University Mt Lawley West Australia
Room: 3.110 It is in building 3 on the ground level.
Times: There is a choice of times – Morning or afternoon
· Session One: 9-00 to 12-00
· Session Two: 1-00 to 4-00
Cost: $99 for the three hour session for one person, 2 people = $77 each, 3 or more people = $55 each.
