Professional development support is available as part of the Curriculum Organiser package.
 
Teacher Planning
 
Curriculum Organiser provides for teacher professional learning in:
  • fast and efficient planning of the teaching - learning program
  • use of ICT for planning - teaching - learning
  • understanding the learning process to connect 'curriculum' (plans) to pedagogy (practice)
  • collaborative planning
School Coordination
 
Curriculum Organiser enables schools to establish a 'School based curriculum centre' including:
 
School Coordination  
  • Developing ‘Scope and Sequence' charts for all learning 
  • Unit / term matrix across all Years
     

Collaborative Planning  

  • Efficient and easy access to all planning documents by all teachers.
  • Promote sharing, reduce workload reduce         

Link School Plans

  • Planning Proformas for school plans, priorities, state testing, data-analysis - linked to curriculum plans 

     

Curriculum Leadership 
  • Curriculum implementation is supported through systematic professional learning for curriculum leaders
 
 
 
Certification     Teachers attending the courses will receive a Certificate recording their achievement 
 
Trade-off days    Customised programs can be arranged for schools to for obligatory PD time requirements
 
Teacher Registration Programs can be used as evidence of professional learning for teacher re-accrediation

 
 
 
Professional development costs
 
After purchase, professional development costs are:
  • Hourly rate:          $165hr (inc. GST)
  • Full day:               $880     (inc. GST)
Schools can combine to reduce the cost of professional development.
 
Travel: Where air fares/car hire/accommodation is required, costs are to be met by the school. Car travel is charged at 44c per kilometre.
 
 
Flexible arrangements
Professional development can usually be arranged to suit the school. For example:
  • After school - twilight sessions
  • During school time - repeat workshops during non-teaching times.
  • School Development Days - whole staff
  • Train the Trainer - 'Power Users' who may then teach colleagues.
  • Special groups e.g. Early Childhood.
  • Combined school programs
  • Staged introduction eg 2-3 teachers may trial the program - and become trainers
