Outcome

The goal of the Curriculum Leadership Program is to develop curriculum leadership capabilities in:

·     Use of ICT for coordination, planning, teaching and learning, using the Curriculum Organiser.

·     Curriculum design – understanding the flow of decisions and documents for fast and effective planning

·     Curriculum coordination at school level – implementation

 
Curriculum Leadership Program

There are three components to the program:

  1. Preliminary support package.  Introductory documents on curriculum design and school level curriculum coordination. This will be posted to you when you register.
  2. Workshop (3 hours). Conducted at SIDE on Friday 13 April (Middle Friday of holidays)  9-00 to 12-00.  (Bring your lap-top)
  3. Follow-through curriculum task. This is chosen by you based on school needs eg prepare a scope and sequence, or process for tracking outcomes attainment,  or processes to support teacher planning.  You will be given support to undertake this task.
 
Software / Documents provided:  A booklet of Curriculum Leadership documents and ICT software will be provided at the workshop
 
 
Curriculum Leadership Certification
 
 Certificate One: Understanding Curriculum Leadership will be issued on completion of the program.  Email contactus@educationresearch.com.au for more details

Location:     School of Isolated and Distance Education Leederville
Cost:            $110 for the three stage program
