Word: How do I remove the requirement to hold down the Control (CTRL) key when clicking hyperlinks?
On Word's menubar, click Tools / Options and click the Edit tab. Untick the 'Use Control+Click to Follow Hyperlink' option and click OK.
If you were using previously using Microsoft Office 2000, you may remember that you were not required to press the Control key when clicking a hyperlink. In later versions of Microsoft Office, you are (by default) required to press the Control key. |
